Supporting new lines from Provo, UT to Sacramento, CA and Los Angeles, CA to El Paso, TX, we designed and installed stations every 50 miles on each line with huts including electrical service and HVAC. We provided all necessary trades from site acquisition to completion.
Distribution
Dark fiber is of no use until it's distributed to your customers. We are experts in overhead, underground, HDD and wireless construction and utilize any skills necessary to ensure quality connections to everyone's front door.
Permitting
Knowledge, preparation and inter-personal skills are all necessary in the successful permitting of your network construction projects. We have existing relationships with railroads, water districts, municipalities, Native American Tribal Councils, Army Corps of Engineers, utilities and State/Federal agencies. Our teams expedite and organize this process for you.
Construction
Many times, it benefits our customers when we provide turn-key solutions for long haul fiber projects. We design, permit and construct the network to your specifications generally ahead of schedule and within your budget. Savings can be made throughout the project when our construction crews follow the permitting teams.

Upgrades
Many building owners have concerns about their electrical services. An older service or Stab-Lok Panel might already be a hazard to your facility. Other times, load has been added over the years or you may simply want to add substantial load today for washer/dryers in multi-family dwellings or extra industrial equipment. It's unwise to proceed with an entire service upgrade without knowing for sure what you need.
Current Engineering provides metered load studies for main and secondary services. Utilizing multi-point metering over a specified period of time allows us to report the exact load data for your facility. What professionals do I need for my project?
MEP engineers are not typically required for residential projects.. The MEP aspects of your residence will design those aspects. However, there are times when you might want an MEP to review your plans and give you some expert advice on your mechanical and electrical systems. We routinely consult with residential owners to provide upgrades or solutions for residential construction. Many times, these consultations are free of charge since no heavy design work is involved. We greatly enjoy solving any problem. Please ask!
MEP engineers are required for most commercial projects. We design restaurants, churches, schools, offices, and all industrial applications. Even if you are just renovating, an MEP is required. You will usually engage an architect first and he will design your layouts before the MEP is engaged. Your team will generally be comprised of an architect, a structural engineer, a civil engineer (if it's a new site), a mechanical engineer, an electrical engineer and a general contractor. As an MEP firm, we inhouse both the electrical and mechanical which saves money and time.
If you need an architect, we have worked many local or national firms. The team you choose will make or break your project. These are highly qualified professionals that we enjoy working with and will produce outstanding results. Remember, we all focus on securing great performance of all systems at the greatest value possible. Do it without the right help and it'll cost you more and won't work.
There are projects that do not need all these professionals. Any time you are adding electrical load, moving walls or doors, or adding plumbing fixtures, you will need an MEP engineer. You're welcome to start with us for answers to all your questions at no charge.

Is it expensive?
Yes. Design professionals typically charge $150-$450 per hour. That can really add up (think lawyer). We can almost always provide a reasonable flat fee that will meet all your needs rather than charge by the hour. When we are engaged under flat-fee agreements, we work until the job is done and never charge any more. Makes the "free advice" section sound great.
